href="http://area.autodesk.com/index.php/blogs_ken/blog_detail/announcement_3ds_max_design_2010/"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ken's Blog details&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://area.autodesk.com/index.php/blogs_shane/blog_detail/100_new_modeling_features/"&gt;Shane Blog details&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;但很可惜，很多工具在很多别的软件上已经存在一段时间上，甚至一些免付费软件如Blender,他们只是把类似的功能带进来，然而却没有发表一些独特的新功能，向是在告诉他的用户“他们有的，我也能有”。。&lt;br /&gt;在我用3d max 的六年中，这次（3D Max2010）算是最大的implement了,上次我认为最大的的release 好像是3D max8,好像时加入mental ray，cloth,还有hair(那时市面上只有它没有hair &amp;amp; cloth),但是可惜全都不stable,。&lt;br /&gt;不管如何作为一个长期的Max 用户，当我看到这些发放的非官方资料时，还是值得高兴的，希望他们在正式的发表会上有更多突破批性的功能，而不是一如往常地只是把市面上的功能带进软件。。尽管这次是带进最多的一次。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br type='text'>我的hardisk报销了。。还带走了我的research和Zbrush文件。。</title><content type='html'>我的hardisk报销了。。还带走了我的research和Zbrush文件。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;像以往那样年三十晚前一两天要回家我把一些有可能会用得着的文件备份起来，放进我的portable hardisk内带回家以防万一需要用到，但不同的是这次我并没有把hardisk内的文件和一大堆着几个月作的一些文件（工作以外的文件）备份起来。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;当我会到家的第二天想要用我弟弟的电脑进入我的hardisk时发现他不能正常地detect时 ，这是我有着不祥的预感，于是借用我小弟的desktop来开，发现也不能进入，每次插上USB系统就好像被拖着不能refresh然后把它给拔出来电脑系统就恢复正常。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;我的头皮越来越麻了，花了这么多时间做的一些Zbrush作品还有收集的文件就这样没有了。。。。到现在还是不能恢复。。试过了很多方法还是不能进入，也上网做了一些功课关于hardisk报销的资料恢复的服务，发掘他们的收费还真的不便宜。。如果真的要我花那么多钱来恢复一些资料我又觉得不是很值得，想到资料全部不见了又很心痛。。。&lt;div /&gt;不知道为什么。。。我的心里却有点凉凉的。。。它都有今天了，但另一方面的又觉得很奇怪，为什么雄霸3D软件市场的它会让自己陷入如此的泥沼里呢。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;他这几年用那套Subscription fees的方案来赚取的资金到底去了哪里了，“加两块白糖然后就端给顾客”的服务态度也因该让那剩下很多人力物力吗？，&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;Autodek董事：凡是可以买到的东西何必要劳心劳力去研究开发呢 Arh hahaha~~~ &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;。。我想3dmax的资深用户都知道这八年来他是如何“改良”他的“残品”的。。 /&gt;报告指出其实他们开始出现走下坡的迹象，不是外面所窜侧的那样因为收购其他的软件而亏损的影响，看看他的graph及发掘这几年来他真的开始走下坡了。。现在我在开始想当初的XSI是不是也因为看到这市场的状况而决心把它已在刚推出 ICE (Interactive Creative Environment) ，在每一个行内人都看好的情况下，把几乎已经接近了高峰时期的产品卖给Autodesk。。当初我看到这消息时几乎吃不下饭，因为我刚决定要port过去softimage XSI..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;还有另外一个消息也是在这经济不景气的时期给了Autodesk很致命的一脚，就是他们的Autodesk 執行長  Carol Bartz 宣佈要跳到Yahoo公司，真的是 Setup。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;但不是用传统的方法，而是用Mental Ray 来模拟真得studio拍摄场景，我简单的做了一个简单的摄影棚然后在里面放置了所有的基本道具如。。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;img /&gt;a.Key Light -用来作为主要的的照明，是最亮的灯源，也是用来&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;high&lt;/span&gt; light 最主要的figure 用的灯，可以说其他的灯光都得将就它，围绕着它来布置，key light，在这里我用的是soft light box，因为要执照比较柔和的光源。&lt;br /&gt;b.&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;High&lt;/span&gt;light spot-用来&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;highlight&lt;/span&gt; specular用的，拍人时就用来&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;highlight&lt;/span&gt; 头发。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;c.Background Light/Rim Light-主要用来&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;highlight&lt;/span&gt; 整体性的线条，也是用来&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;highlight&lt;/span&gt; 剪影的最好方法，使主体更突出，不直接照射但用了反射光&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"&gt;bounce Light&lt;/span&gt;的方法来达到，这样可以营造出更柔和的效果但不会制造出明显的影子。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3）反光板-一般用来把&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"&gt;Key light&lt;/span&gt;相反的地方补光用的，主要是把&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8"&gt;Key light&lt;/span&gt;的灯光反射回去主体并把影子的位置补光，为什么不用&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9"&gt;Fill Light&lt;/span&gt;?。。因为我还是想保留比较多的影子来制造对比的效果。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;结论：&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;我 觉得在Mental Ray 内模拟Studio Lighting setup比起在其他的上色引擎作来得简单，他的final Gather的计算在不需要GI的状况下几乎就可以拿到很好的效果了，因为没有GI的干预下你要拿到很强烈的Studio light 灯光对比,相对也比较简单，加上他的exposure control那你就可以更自由的调整你想要的灯光比率和效果了。。所以我想除了一些室内的灯光我会用GI比较重的上色引擎外(如&lt;span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;XSI&lt;/font&gt;把自己卖给了&lt;font class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;Autodesk&lt;/font&gt;后..我的天空又多了一块乌云。。和很多的3d application使用者和我一样那样。。我们都觉得这圈子近乎于被monopoly了。。因为市场上最有影响的三维三大巨头Maya,Max,Xsi都在他手里了。。。还有什么竞争可言呢。。&lt;br /&gt;在这圈子的人都了解市场上又有一定的能抗衡的软件竞争才会一直开发出更新且更实用的软件，不想竟这几年Autodesk的老牌软件3dMax那样只为了每年能赚取User 的Subscription fees(800-900Sgd)而每年出一个他x的敷衍烂配件，根本都没打算要好好地写一个好软件，而却大多数的新功能都是跟那些第三厂写的完善时跟他们买下来不加于改良直接方进去的。。。如果真的不是情势所逼。。我他x的就把这些软件丢到垃圾桶去！&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;当我们处于沮丧的时候，我们把目光投向那些还没被吃掉的/或很有可能接下来被吃掉的软件公司。。如Modo,Cinema4d,Lightwave,Silo,Vray,Zbrush,Houdini,....还有那个免费的Blender.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;到现在还是很多人认为这个使他的死穴。。但当你真的融入了它的操作系统后你会觉得他真的在上面画了很长的时间来做到简化而快捷。。此时此刻的我其实还没习惯。。&lt;br /&gt;那那为什么我会说这是他的优势呢？。。很简单。。你去哪里找一个。。功能比大部分的大型软件多，但操作系统跟界面却可以简化比任何一个大型软件来的简单的软件呢。。？&lt;/font&gt; &lt;font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold;"&gt;还有我到现在都还是不明白为什么他的installer可以只保持在9mb左右..还有开机到操作的时间只需要5秒左右。。。这两点有点不可思议（3DMax需要大概1-2分钟进入操作界面，然后installer大概是1个gig 左右）。。&lt;/font&gt;   &lt;font style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0); font-weight: bold;" color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;他是我看多为一会将Compositing tools intergrade进入3的software的。。其他的软件发展商："才没那么笨，"分拆开来我又可以买一个几千块的软件了hehe"&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font size="3"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br Exotique4...不！接下来这就是我要买的两本书！。。真该死那次在Siggraph Asia时有卖的。。但当时又舍不得花钱买，毕竟也是百多块新币一本。。想回去考虑考虑。。到最后只买了Matte Painting 2(也是超喜欢的&lt;img src="http://img70.imageshack.us/img70/167/79956361jd3.gif" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us" /&gt;)。。那知道回到去翻翻着一本越看越爽，恨不得那天不拿两本都买下来。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;现在好了，想要买，但到处问都卖完了连VIVO PageOne规模那么大的书店都卖完了。。。&lt;img center;"&gt;最近在做辣妹二号-"Etudes"时作了一些简单的关于一些处理真实皮肤效果的功课，发现行内人大部分选择用“MentalRay”来达到真是的效果，不管是工作团队的pipeline或是个别的作品，少数用Vray,Brazil,Final Render,还有Scanline.我也顺便的了解了他被重用的原因。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;其实还真的很明显的。。只要你曾经开过以上几个上色引擎的材设定的话你会大致上了解为什么。。因为MantalRay 除了在GI有一定程度的深入的设定，它在各种材质的设定上真的设想的很周到，不管你拥有哪一种贴图，打算用什么方式来做epidermal,sub dermal,back surface,bump或specular,他都有很详细的参数可供调整，也可用自做的贴图取代，反观其他的引擎，不是缺少这个就是那个，一些还不时出现虫虫（BUG）&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" crash的时候遗失了，因为要同时Sculpt然后又要record变得对memory要求的很苛刻。。所以如果你还在用32bit的windows（只能用到最多2-3gig的ram） ，抱歉了至少需要6gig以上来顺利的同时sculpt和record,如果你不够ram的话，它随时会在没有经过的状况下关闭你的ZBrush..&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/6024/59239345fk9.gif"&gt;&lt;img style="cursor: pointer; width: 50px; height: 50px;" /&gt;完成Sculpting后简单的用了vista自带的'Movie Maker'加了几首歌当背景。。纯粹让这片段看了没那么闷。。最后把它compress后upload 在Veoh上。。这也是我第一次用Veoh来上载Video,上一次是用YouTube，但基于文件的大小..Veoh还是比较实际。 因为要把文件压缩到可以upload 完成所有的环节的。。。最后还是用standart brush把falloff 放到"0"然后用RGB(黑色)把motif freehand paint出来，然后再mask by intensity后fill color(蓝色) 最后用deformation&gt;inflate把stripe的地方稍稍突起  ,期间免不了很多修饰线条的一些动作，虽然效果有点外来歪去的&lt;a Primitive 来创建一些小配件,用transpose tool 来摆pose..现在就用retopology tools 在重新把不健康的polygon topology loops 从原体上重新排列。也是最头痛的一环。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;作这个模型最大的挑战是我想把所有的制作过程都100%用ZBrush 内置工具。不要借助第三厂软件的帮助下完成她。。虽然我发觉有些工具好像有点不实际，但在这个状况下它还是能发挥它的用处。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;概念设计是由一名韩国知名的游戏角色概念设计师“金亨泰”所设计的一套人物设计轻重一个角色。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;最进买了他在介于1999-2004年所花的一系列概念图专辑（Oxide 2x Kim Hyung Tae ）很喜欢里面的一些角色设计。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;我发现韩国的概念设计师都有这很强烈的个人风格，有着日本的东洋气息的脸孔但却有着很强的欧美式身材比率和线条，综合这两个元素也是我更使我喜欢上这位韩国artist了。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;虽然如此我并没有很忠实的呈现他画出来的那种漫画式感觉，我想保留一点点的发展空间，希望他本人看了以后不会介意，我曾经透过发行社联络他本人但却没有收到他本人的回应。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;基本上大部分的model 是在 3dmax 内完成的，然后放进zbrush作一些简单的detailing。&lt;br /&gt;第一次用zbrush感觉真的很生疏，硬着头皮弄的。。对我们这种已经习惯其中一种三维软件的navigation来说真的不容易适应，难怪很多3d artist刚用时觉得是一种折磨而转比较容易适应的mudbox。&lt;br /&gt;几 个月前去mudbox新版本发表会时mudbox还借机讽刺zbrush的操作界面，现场好像还很多人认同呢。。坦白说虽然新的mudbox有着一些工具 让它有一定的优势。。但对于那种已经熟悉一半以上的界面和操作系统的zbrush使用者来说。。。mudbox以现在要取代zbrush来说。。。。还早 的呢。。。原因？深入了解了这两个软件的功能后就很容易明白了。。反而我比较看好最近新发表并提供免费下载测试版的另外一个数码雕塑软件。因为它拥有着前 者所没有的绝对优势。但现在要断定还太早了点。。&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' 时用来做示范的一个场景，教导他们如何利用最省时省力的方法做出准确又美观的场景。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;花了一天工作日model然后大概两天的时间来texture，lighting和render.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;背景其实是新加坡的总统府，喜欢它的简约殖民时期风格，整个建筑就只用了白色和米色来搭配却又不失高贵大方和宏伟,当中有很多重复性的结构和细节有利于用来讲解关于model的一些技巧。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;没有Cad file（蓝图）只是根据网上找到的一些照片作为model参考，这是最考功夫的一环，但也是我本身最喜欢的一环。&lt;div style="font-size:130%;"&gt;　　　今年２９岁的我，不知道是不是老了，又或者是思想的跟年期到了。。越来越对这些新新人类反感。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;前段时间，公司因为要宽展，刊登了广告，然后一大堆求职者就进来，然后我们就一个一个的面试然后聘用，接下来的几个月就让我&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;见识到时下年轻人的本色&lt;/span&gt;。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;因为刚设立公司不久所以我们想吸纳一些新人并加以培训，不需要经验，不需要掌握很多软件，只要适当的学习态度好就会把他考虑在内了，你根本不需要花几十千在本地或外国学习，我们可以原原本本的把我们技术传给你，薪水也会随着技术和工作能力提高。。你说这样的聘用条件会很难吗。。。我告诉你，还真的不容易呢。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;他们给我的感觉真的好像来玩玩得，有时真的感觉好像被他们耍了。要&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;进来时讲到有龙有凤，进来后原来是条虫&lt;/span&gt;。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;我们制度已经很开放，允许员工自由上网以方便他们，也没禁止用MSN，要上网，可以，只要工作有交待就可以了，他们竟可以把这些&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;特权用到尽，但工作却没声没息&lt;/span&gt;。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;上班飘进来没打招呼，不要紧，下班准时飘出去，也不要紧，怕他们做不来把工作的十分之一交给他们。。。三个星期没交代，问他们做得如何，男的回答“多两天咯。。”女的更厉害回"酱咯" 。。全部到最后都没办法把那些基本功做好，更别说投入工作。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;更惨的是试用期内两个月竟然偷偷一大堆盗版软件和电影其中还有final fantasy呢&lt;/span&gt;.....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;大佬啊 这里是新加坡啊，你以为你老家啊！..&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;难怪公司接到软件公司的警告信说要来调查！&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;当时我还真的他下载那么多盗版，&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"&gt;幸亏软件公司收到我们的正版软件证明书才打消上门调查，我是在事后一个星期才发现他下载了一大堆盗版在他的电脑。。当场就流了把冷汗。。如果真的上门来调查的话。。真的吃不完咯。。&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;他从进来到离开都一直跟我重申他是宅男，真的好像很引以为傲那样。。其他几位也是不折不扣的宅男宅女。。现在我对类人好像真的不抱希望了。。。。&lt;span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;宅男=灾难&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;那个男的，我本来还是想给机会他的，可能他觉得被拆后下载盗版后觉得丢脸不敢面对我讲，也可能觉得当初进来时讲太多大话了现在不好意思，竟然想到用MSN的题目来暗示&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;"哎呀，不知道要自己开口还是等人家开口勒"&lt;/span&gt;。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;太吊了&lt;/span&gt;！！真的没话说勒！你嘛看在你胯下“挂着的二枚银子” 勇敢点嘛。。还是他觉得这样比较“&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;吊&lt;/span&gt;”！&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;。。。好啦好啦我看你还是当你应以为傲的“宅男”吧。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;有时上论坛时也可以看到这类人到处撒野，真的很反感。。没什么厉害，&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;就厉害“车大炮”，反正不要本钱的嘛。。&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;我真的老了吗。。&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, /&gt;就因为这点。。我特别对这张脸有兴趣，不是因为我觉得很好看（其实我觉得真的很菜。。跟那些artist比起来。。）..因为这&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);font-size:130%;" &gt;恰恰反映了我现在的美术程度。。许多的不足，需要改进。。看着它提醒着我。。&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;" &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);font-size:130%;" &gt;就像握着铅笔素描的感觉&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;" 这也是我偏爱这个软件的原因，能让你感觉到你在释放本身要表现的东西，而不是把一些polygon的面积拉来拉去。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;希望下次我脑子放空的时候能做出比这个好几倍的东西。。那就直接反映到我的进步了。。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br
